RUFUS - The New Shire State Police has announced that Trooper Rachel Olardi has been promoted to a Captain of the State Police's troop A. In a statement, Commissioner Lorenzo Marley said of Olardi, "She has been a valuable asset to our agency. She has been productive in making our cities safer and for that she has earned to promotion. She will be a great Captain and we can't wait to see where her career with us takes her next."

Olardi will see an increase in salary and will lead her troop. Olardi has responded to 678 seperate calls and has arrested over 250 people in the first 6 months of the year(2023).

She will be promoted officially via a recorded promotion ceremony on July 15, 2023. The State Police will also begin increasing patrols on Interstate 890 and major New Shire highway systems on this date as well.
